Forensic Accident Reconstructionist/Owner
Brent Munyon is a Forensic Accident Reconstructionist/Owner in our College Station office. Brent began his tenure as an investigative assistant in 2006. Brent is an ACTAR accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and is recognized as an expert in the field of traffic accident reconstruction. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, as well as a Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences with a concentration in Forensic Sciences.
Brent served as a police officer with the Bryan Police Department from 1993 to 1999. In addition to his normal patrol duties, he worked with state and federal agencies to target narcotics trafficking and organized criminal activity. He was awarded the Police Officer of the Year in 1997 and 1998, along with four Commendation Medals.
After leaving public service for the private sector, he owned and operated a private investigation firm, where he routinely investigated traffic accidents for both criminal and civil matters. This experience made Brent a natural fit to assist with our scene and vehicle investigations. Brent has taken numerous accident reconstruction courses, even becoming a testifying expert in 2008. Brent is certified to download and analyze data from Event Data Recorders for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Brent served our country as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force and still maintains a master’s Peace Officers License. He is also a licensed private investigator.
Brent enjoys hunting, fishing, repelling, and spending time with family in his free time.
